The names of the selection criteria of this tool are not necessarily formally correct according to scientific definition. They are chosen in such a way that even the layman can make decisions according to his ideas if possible. Any "formal errors" of this kind should also lead to the goal. However, the appropriation of certain terms such as "leafs opposite" or "unpaired pinnate" etc. is indispensable, but can also be found out by trial and error.

• Click on known data and properties to limit the selection shown on the right side.
• If possible, avoid ambiguous and unclear properties.
• Use as few secure selection criteria as possible to achieve a clear hit selection. This means that not all fields need to be clicked on or filled in.
• The biological variability is great. If you do not find what you are looking for immediately, change individual properties such as location, height, flowering time, leaf position etc..
